Sponsorship Opportunities

The MLRC Media Law Conference brings together media defense counsel to discuss the top issues facing media and their lawyers today. It spans three days of continuing legal education programming split into plenary sessions, and boutique sessions that emphasize interactive discussions on specific areas of media law and practice.

Sponsorship provides high-profile branding of your firm at the premier media law conference with 300+ attendees. Your support is vital to our mission of keeping members educated, informed, and ready to defend clients in these challenging times.

Sponsorship Levels

Silver Level: $5,000
Gold Level (Meal/Break/Reception Sponsorship): $6,000 Gold sponsorships are on a first come, first serve basis and availability is to be discussed with MLRC.
Platinum: $7,500+ Options include 1) branding on conference tote bag; 2) branding on hotel key card. Availability to be discussed with MLRC.
Patron: $15,000 Provides conference scholarships for 15 lawyers from non-profit companies and defunded agencies.

We are open to other branding ideas and opportunities.  Please call us to discuss if there is something you are interested in doing.

Sponsors receive the following:

  • One (1) complimentary registration to the Conference.
  • Name, logo and 50-word description of company/firm in the Conference program.
  • Name and logo on the Conference website, with a link to your company/firm.
  • Sponsors of meals/receptions: Company/firm name and logo on signage near the entrance to ballroom.
  • Opportunity to distribute a single sheet of literature in the tote bag given to all Conference attendees.
  • Opportunity to distribute a modest giveaway item at shared sponsor tables at registration desk.
  • Lists of conference delegates before the Conference.

General Policies

  1. Sponsorships are non-refundable, unless the Conference or sponsored item/event is cancelled, or if applicable, postponed or relocated, because of fire, strikes, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of the Conference organizers, or the Conference organizers fail to provide a sponsor with any of the benefits listed above.  In any such event, the sponsor waives any and all damages and claims for damages and agrees that the sole liability of the Conference organizers shall be to grant the sponsor a full refund of the amount of sponsorship money actually given. 
  2. The Conference organizers reserve the right to change the program and schedule of the Conference and to add or subtract speakers from any given session at any time. 
  3. Handouts are limited to one single 8.5 x 11 page (double-sided, but no cards or booklets!) and will be made available to Conference attendees only in the tote bag given to all Conference attendees. 
  4. Any giveaway items may be made available to Conference attendees only at a table devoted solely to the Conference sponsors at registration.  Please note that you must supply us with return shipping instructions (including account to be charged to) if you want any leftover items returned to you at the end of the conference.
